Penny, still in her crate, somehow managed to chew through her collar WHICH SHE WAS WEARING yesterday.  I’m not entirely sure how this is anatomically possible, but she did it, so after letting her outside with the backup rope lead from the shelter I put her back in the crate and went to get a new collar…and of course, while I was gone she peed in the crate, against everything everyone ever told me about crating.  sigh!  That’s the official end of her short-lived doggie bed.  Now her new favorite thing ever is my couch, which makes it difficult to move her when she doesn’t want to be moved.  Before I could just pick up the bed with her in it like a little puppy taco but now I have to weasel my way in to pick her up directly.
