Penny seems to have figured out how to escape her crate (so…it wasn’t that I forgot to lock it last time?), so I set up a webcam to see how she does it and also how she occupies her time when she’s not eating my window blinds. Unfortunately though she managed to slip out while I was driving from home to work, so I missed it!
She ran around like a maniac for a while but seems to spend most of her time on a chair off-screen looking out the window. She makes a LOT of noise though. It’s kind of a miracle that my neighbors haven’t lynched me with the volume and consistency with which Penny howls. She went for a solid half hour without taking a breath, chilled out for maybe fifteen minutes, then started again. I feel AWFUL but I really don’t know what else I can do for her. I’m thinking maybe of doggie day care :(
