In a fit of desperation to get Penny to calm down while I was away I purchased this app, which supposedly uses sound to tap into your animal (dog, cat or horse)’s anxiety.  To my extreme surprise, it works!  Obviously this isn’t a solution, it treats the symptom and not the cause, but I’m hoping through repetition she’ll figure out that there is nothing to be scared about when she’s alone for a few hours at a time. I’ll admit I’m a little worried that there’s some subliminal frequency in there that’s killing brain cells or doing something terrible to the pup - I never in a million years expected the music to work.
